Yep, this post is a week overdue. Everyday I think, "After I get everything done I will get on my blog." and everyday I come up short.

Last week my little man became a 1 year old. Time has flown and he is so BIG! He is our little scientist, always wandering around discovering new things he can get into. He just found out how to flush the toilet and so that is his new big thing. Some of his favorite things to do are:

• Play at the playground. He has finally mustered up the courage to go down the slide.
• Cuddle with his big stuffed bear.
• Say, "Da da" all day long and maybe mention a "Ma ma" once in a great while.
• Bananas, loves em!
• Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He adores Mickey.
• Going on walks.
• Playing hide n' go seek. He is a really good seeker but a terrible hider.
• Hanging out with his mom and dad

For his party we made a baseball hat cake and I was reminded why I have never really been into cake decorating because I am terrible at it! We also made some little baseball cupcakes. Next year I am just going to buy some... He had a fun time. He wouldn't open his presents so we had lots of helpers who assisted him. He also freaked out when the cake was placed in front of him. I think he would have been fine but Blake decided Houston was moving a little to slowly by just picking at the cake. Blake stuck Houston's whole hand in the cake and Houston was NOT happy about that.

Houston is such a blessing to Blake and I. We both adore him and cannot wait for our weekends when we can all be together and play. He is such a happy little kid with a huge personality. We love you bug!
