Houston playing peek-a-boo inside the sleeping bag with his dad
Cool petroglyphs that we hiked to.
Houston trying to play with his cousinsThis last weekend we went with Blake's family down to Capitol Reef and stayed in a cabin for a couple of days. I had never been to Capitol Reef before but it is a pretty area. Sadly we were not able to go hiking a lot but we did get to see a lot of beautiful rock formations and petroglyphs. Just like any other camping trip we had a lot of laughs, ate too much food, and played games. I think the most memorable part for me was one morning when Audrey, Mallory, Blake, Bob, Houston, and I were the only ones awake. Bob is a little crazy in the mornings and he decided to put on Minnie Mouse's wedding ears and dance around. It was pretty funny. One thing I realized during this trip is how terrible Houston is on overnight trips. He struggles sleeping as I know a lot of kids do. When we got home on Sunday we all crashed Houston went to bed at like 7 and Blake and I fell asleep at around 8. It was all worth it though, being around family is a great blessing.

Jordyn was awful on our camping trip too. Chad had to sit in the truck with her til about 4 am cause she just screamed and screamed. Too bad we weren't suffering together!
Looks like you had fun! I didn't think about Val's baby being close to the same age as Houston...how fun! He is a cutie....growing right up! And I need to hit Capitol Reef one day I have heard great things about it.
